Live head-to-head classics — pick a game in the lobby
Create a room, pick which game to play, and it appears in the lobby. When somebody asks to join, you decide whether to let them in. Only once you accept does the match begin.
If your room sits empty for more than 2 minutes and other people are waiting too, you'll be shown their rooms and offered the chance to join one instead. Your own room stays open until the other host actually accepts you.
Each player places the same five ships on their own 10×10 grid:
| Ship | Length |
|---|---|
| Carrier | 5 |
| Battleship | 4 |
| Cruiser | 3 |
| Submarine | 3 |
| Destroyer | 2 |
Choose a ship at the top of the board, then tap squares to place it. Drag a placed ship to move it. It stays selected until you choose another one.
When you create a room, choose the turn rule and whether sunk ships are announced. The host shoots first. With one shot per turn, play alternates. With fire again on a hit, a hit (including the shot that sinks a ship) lets you shoot again, and a miss passes the turn. Sink the whole enemy fleet to win.
If sunk ships are announced, the sinking ship is shown on those squares and the sunk count is shown. If they are not announced, every shot on a ship looks like an ordinary hit until the match ends, when both fleets are shown with every shot marked.
When you create a room, choose the board size (4×4, 5×5, or 6×6 dots). Players then take turns claiming a line between dots. Completing a box scores a point and lets you go again. When every line is claimed, the higher score wins (or it is a draw).
When you create a room, choose 1, 2, or 3 rounds and 6, 8, or 10 lives. Each round,
both players secretly pick a word (4–10 letters, from the same word list
as Terridle). You take turns guessing letters of your opponent's word. A letter you have already tried stays
marked and cannot be played again. If you run out of lives, you hang! The round continues both have guessed their
word... or been hanged.
Solving scores one point for each life left, plus a difficulty bonus based on the word composition.
After the last round, the higher total score
wins. A level score is a draw.
