How to Play
This is inspired by a game called Squaredle, where the aim is to find all the words contained in a grid of letters.
A word must be formed of an unbroken chain of letter-tiles, without reusing any.
Terridle is the same, but terrible. The grid contains only one valid word. The aim is to find the word as fast as possible.
All words will be a minimum of 4 characters long and be taken from the official scrabble dictionary.
They are also manually curated, to ensure that extremely obscure words aren't included.
Daily variations
- Monday: On Mondays, the puzzle will be as easy as it gets
Only 4 or 5 letter words that score 10 or less in scrabble
- Tuesday: On Tuesdays, the puzzle will be standard difficulty with no special rules
- Wednesday: On Wednesdays, the grid will contain a higher than average number of vowels
This makes it harder than Monday or Tuesday
- Thursday: Thursday will have odd puzzles
Generally long words in tiny grids
- Friday: Friday's words score at least 15 in scrabble
It'll probably have some rarer letters
- Saturday: On Saturday, the word of the day will be taken from my hand-picked list of horrible words
They will be semi-obscure, have strange spellings, or both
- Sunday: Sunday puzzles have no special rules, except the word must be at least 6 letters
